We're a women-owned balloon decor studio in the heart of Chelsea — and for over four decades, we've been turning New York's biggest moments into unforgettable ones, one balloon at a time.
Who We Are
A New York Institution, Rooted in Chelsea
Balloons To Go has called Chelsea home for over 45 years. From our shop on West 15th Street, we've decorated graduations, galas, weddings, bar and bat mitzvahs, corporate launches, and countless birthdays across all five boroughs — and beyond. What started as a neighborhood balloon shop has grown into one of New York City's most trusted names in balloon decor, without ever losing the personal, hands-on approach that built it.
We're proudly women-owned, an official NYC Department of Education vendor, and a Balloon Council Certified Responsible Retailer — but what we're most proud of is the reputation we've earned the old-fashioned way: by showing up, doing beautiful work, and treating every event like it matters. Because it does.

Built by Hand, Right in Our Shop
Every installation we create starts here, in our Chelsea workshop. From the helium and gas we use to inflate thousands of balloons to the careful prep that goes into each arch, column, and ceiling design, it's all done by hand by our own team.
