Intern Queen is a college marketing platform that connects students with career-building programs and brand partnerships — and for their Dunkin'-sponsored party at the Gramercy Theatre in Manhattan, they needed balloon decor that could hold its own in a room full of brand-savvy college students and Dunkin' executives. Organic balloon arch, life-size balloon donut, and balloon iced coffee sculpture — built for Dunkin's Intern Queen Party at the Gramercy Theatre, Manhattan, NYC. 🍩
What We Built: Three Pieces, One Unforgettable Setup
The full installation was built around a large organic balloon arch in Dunkin's signature palette — orange, pink, black, and gold, with confetti balloons and fairy lights woven throughout for that extra nightlife glow. Flanking the arch on either side were two custom freestanding sculptures that stopped every single guest at the door:
- Life-Size Balloon Donut Sculpture — A full ring donut shape built from balloons in pink and yellow, with colorful balloon sprinkles on top. Instantly recognizable, completely on-brand, and an absolute magnet for photo ops.
- Balloon Iced Coffee Cup Sculpture — A tall rectangular cup shape built from neutral balloons with an orange straw poking out the top — an unmistakable nod to the Dunkin' iced coffee that half of New York City runs on every morning.
- Organic Balloon Arch with Fairy Lights — A lush, voluminous organic arch in Dunkin' brand colors with confetti balloons and LED fairy lights integrated throughout — perfect for the Gramercy Theatre's dark, dramatic interior.
