Halloween Balloon Columns & Balloon Trees at the Chrysler Building, Midtown East
For Perfect Building Maintenance's Halloween celebration inside the iconic Chrysler Building, we filled the office with organic balloon columns and a full set of themed balloon trees, from a silver ghost and a black raven to a witch's hat, potion bottles and a "Rest in Pieces" tombstone.
Perfect Building Maintenance celebrated Halloween in its offices in the Chrysler Building, one of New York's most famous Art Deco landmarks, at Lexington Avenue and 42nd Street in Midtown East. The brief: make the whole floor feel like Halloween, from the entrance and hallways to the lounge and snack tables. As a women-owned, Chelsea-based studio with 45+ years of experience, we designed, delivered and set up every piece on-site.

Three tall organic balloon columns anchored the space. Each one mixed orange, black and white balloons with black-and-white marble balloons spiraling through, an orange starburst halfway up for extra shape, and a different Halloween character on top:
- A black jack-o'-lantern — a grinning pumpkin in black and copper at the entrance to the party room
- A wide-eyed black spider — legs stretched out over a column by the doorway
- A pumpkin with bat wings — a playful topper beside the lounge and pool table
Themed Halloween Balloon Trees in Every Corner
Alongside the columns, we placed tall balloon trees throughout the floor: weighted bouquets of orange, black and white balloons, each crowned with a different Halloween foil so no two corners looked the same. Some mixed in polka-dot, jack-o'-lantern and bat-confetti balloons for extra fun.
- Spooky characters — a silver ghost, a dancing skeleton and a black raven perched on top
- Witchy touches — a starry witch's hat, a witch flying past the moon, and "Trick or Treat" potion bottles labeled Zombie Tonic and Witches Brew
- Haunted classics — a coffin-shaped "Happy Halloween," a "Rest in Pieces" tombstone, a haunted house and a "Have a Haunting Halloween" raven orb
- A purple pumpkin orb — a bright pop of purple among the orange and black
Balloon trees are an easy win for offices. Each one stands on its own weight, so they can go anywhere: reception, hallways, conference rooms and snack tables, with no installation on walls or ceilings. Want just a few for pickup? See our helium balloons at our Chelsea shop.

Frequently Asked Questions
Do you decorate office Halloween parties in NYC?
Yes. We design and set up Halloween balloon decor for offices across NYC, like the columns and balloon trees for Perfect Building Maintenance at the Chrysler Building. See more in our Halloween balloon decor guide.
What is a balloon tree?
A balloon tree is a tall, weighted balloon bouquet, usually a cluster of latex balloons topped with a large foil balloon. It stands on its own, so it can go anywhere in an office without wall or ceiling installation.
What's the difference between a balloon column and a balloon tree?
A balloon column is a tall, solid tower of balloons built on a frame, often with a topper. A balloon tree is a lighter bouquet on a weight. Many offices use both: columns for entrances and focal points, trees for corners and tables. See our balloon columns.
Do you deliver to office buildings in Midtown East?
Yes. We deliver and set up across Midtown and all five boroughs, and we coordinate with building management on delivery times and freight elevators.
Can you do the same for our holiday party?
Yes. We build columns, balloon trees and full installations for Thanksgiving, holiday and New Year's parties in any palette. See our corporate holiday party guide.
